Kim (she/her) is an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with double board certifications in Psychiatry and Adult Primary Care. Since 2007, she has gained extensive experience working across various settings in North Central Florida, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, as well as partial hospitalization programs. Kim's clinical expertise spans a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, with a particular focus on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma, and mood disorders in older adolescents and adults. Kim is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive, and trusting environment in which her patients feel understood and at ease. She believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is foundational to the process of personal growth and empowerment.

Drawing on a relational, human-centered approach, Kim integrates Psychodynamic and Internal Family Systems (IFS) models with holistic care for the body, mind, and spirit. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive, individualized approach, often incorporating genetic testing and other laboratory work to guide the development of a well-rounded, evidence-based treatment plan. She works collaboratively with her patients to make informed decisions, always prioritizing their autonomy and personal preferences in the treatment process.
