Ana Olvera
Clinician
Ana is a registered intern counseling student at the University of Florida, passionately dedicated to guiding individuals on their healing journeys. She is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and welcoming atmosphere where clients can explore their emotions and experiences.
Drawing from a Trauma-Focused framework, she integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory into her practice, recognizing the complexity of each individual’s inner world. Her approach is enhanced by her training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which serves as her primary intervention alongside talk therapy. This unique blend allows her to effectively address trauma and promote deeper healing, helping clients reconnect with themselves and their stories.
She believes in the power of connection and empathy, understanding that every client is unique. Her sessions are tailored to meet specific needs, fostering a calm and cozy environment that encourages individuals to open up and engage in meaningful dialogue about their thoughts and feelings. Her goal is to empower clients, helping them cultivate resilience and a renewed sense of hope.
Outside of her counseling work, she enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular workouts and finds joy in watching movies that inspire and entertain. She treasures her time spent at the beach, finding solace in the soothing sounds of the ocean, and values the moments shared with loved ones, recognizing that nurturing strong relationships is a meaningful core value of hers.
At The Nook, she is committed to providing compassionate care and a space for personal growth. She looks forward to partnering with clients as they navigate their paths toward healing and fulfillment. With a gentle approach and a focus on holistic wellness, she is here to support you on your journey, inviting you to explore the depths of your being and embrace the life you deserve.
